- Welcome to Virus Creation Kit v1.4!

- Q: What does LAB.EXE do anyway?
- A: Lab allows you to infect any COM or EXE file with the X14 v1.4 virus!
- Q: What is X14 v1.4?
- A: X14 is a trojan horse/Virus combination, has it's own encryption
- engine to "hide" the destructive code! Virus scanners are tricked
- into thinking a file that has been infected with X14 is really a good
- clean program! Even Heuristic scanners don't pick anything up!
- No more funny characters on your screen either! I cut down the size
- of the decryption routine, and made it a little more stable... X14
- only needs about 8k of ram to run now! I changed the entire
- encryption routine so if a scanner could detect it before, it can't
- now! HAHA! The decryptor passes virus scanners, because it looks like
- a keyboard polling routine.. (Fancy coding here). Fine tuned the
- harmful encrypted code (Much faster now!). Room for improvement?
- Q: What do you mean "infect" any file?
- A: LAB will infect the file you have specified with X14 customized for
- your needs via the drive letter to trash. The user of your file will
- have no idea what's going on. UNTIL it's to late!
- Q: Is LAB.EXE a virus?
- A: No! LAB.EXE will infect other programs, but will not cause you any
- harm. It will not go TSR either.
- Q: Why do you write these things?
- A: Mostly to test my skills at programming. Writing a virus by itself
- is no easy thing. You need to make sure what your doing doesn't
- interfere with other programs. Then you have to avoid doing stuff
- in certain ways to avoid virus scanners. It's a challenge! The
- encryption part added a unique twist to it. I found I could hide
- destructive code this way... I have more ideas for this technique!
- Q: How many files can I infect with LAB.EXE?
- A: As many as you want!
- Q: Ok, how do I use LAB.EXE?
- A: This is the easy part! You only need to specify the file to infect
- with X14 and the drive letter to infect via the command line. Like
- this: LAB LAB.EXE C - This would infect the LAB.EXE file and when run
- it would trash drive C. Simple enough for anyone!
-
- As you can probably tell, the X14 is a short lived program. It will not
- spread and will die on one run. (Hopefully so will it's host!). But for
- something quick and dirty, You really can't beat X14.
-
- I think I have answered all the questions about LAB v1.4 That I could
- Think of. You should be able to infect a few files on your own now.
- Try not to trash good systems Ok? Just hit lamers!

- DARWIN was here 1995!
- Peace and I'm outa here!!
